Importance of Traceability

Aquariums are complex and dynamic systems. Traceability provides transparency to potential problems your aquatic habitat might encounter. Nothing happens 'randomly', it only appears that way when you don't have the full story. This also helps you by keeping us accountable to our own commitment to effective and reliable aquarium maintenance in Minnesota. No matter size, age, or difficulty level of the aquatic habitat you have or want we are there to provide the same professional level of service every time.

Mapping Out Your Experience

There is more to managing an aquarium than just cleaning the glass and doing a water change. Accounting for everything can be a challenge, but it's worth it. We map out everything regarding your aquarium maintenance such as:

  • Analysis of chemistry and microbes
  • Adding & removing livestock
  • Equipment cleaning, maintenance, and calibration
  • Loss-of-Life Reports
  • Record-Keeping
  • Emergency preparedness/Redundancy
  • Inventory tracking
  • Warranty support
  • Billing
  • General care of livestock
  • Illness
  • Pests

Paving a Trail of Paper

Now that we have our map to long-term success, the traceability begins! No matter what it is, we will be able to tell you the How, Who, When, What, & Why. We keep a dedicated file for each client with the whole history of each visit. This also means that the more frequent the visit, the more points of data we have to reference when troubleshooting common and uncommon problems quickly & precisely. A paper trail of sorts that will lead us home when we get lost.

Certificate of Analysis

Every month we send a Certificate of Analysis with a glance of everything happening with your aquatic habitat in a convenient, easy-to-read format. You are always welcome to the full breadth of data we collect on your system at any time, but a snapshot is oftentimes enough with all the most important details.
